Our Story

Hi and thank you so much for stopping by!

My name is Manuel and I am Mason's dad. I'm an Emergency Nurse by profession and have been involved in health care since 2010, I have dealt with people falling my entire career and it has always been a challenging issue.

The idea of SafeMason came from walking our kids in our neighborhood during summer evenings, Mason was about 3 years old at the time and like any child, he frequently tripped and fell on the sidewalks and would sustain abrasions and bruises on his knees, One day I thought that he needed some pants with knee pads to keep him from hurting himself again but I wasn't able to find anything that fitted our needs.

After searching for a bit I realized that I had been looking for a product that didn't exist and as a father I felt it would be beneficial to a lot of children who are learning to walk, may have mobility/motility issues or have developmental disabilities.

I decided to aptly name the project "Safe Mason" and with the support of friends and family, we're trying to make SafeMason a reality for anyone who needs a little extra padding when adventuring every day.

It is my sincere hope to help keep kids a little safer one knee at a time.
